I’m Devon Sheahan, founder of Devon Sheahan Design. With over 20 years of experience in kitchen and spatial design. I help homeowners in Cochrane, Calgary, and surrounding communities — including Banff, Canmore, and Bragg Creek — create spaces that are highly functional, thoughtfully designed, and supportive of daily life.

My work is rooted in spatial planning — understanding how people move, gather, cook, and live within their homes. Whether you’re renovating a kitchen, reworking a floor plan, or sensing that your home isn’t functioning as it could, I bring clarity to the design process by prioritizing movement, proportion, and flow from the very beginning.

Over time, I began integrating Feng Shui principles into my approach — not as a trend, but as a natural extension of what I’ve always valued: balance, alignment, and intuitive function. For clients who are interested, this layer can further refine how a space feels and supports everyday living.

Services

Initial Design Consultation

(1–2 hours)

A focused in-home session designed to assess your space before moving forward with renovation or redesign.

This session includes:

• Review of your space and overall goals
• Discussion of inspiration and priorities
• Site measurements and reference photographs
• Layout discussion and professional guidance
• Identification of clear next steps

Prior to our meeting, you’ll receive a short questionnaire to help clarify your goals and priorities for the space.

Following the consultation, clients may choose to move forward with ongoing design and layout development as needed.

Investment: $250
(Prepayment required to confirm booking)

Ongoing Design & Layout Development

Following the design consultation, I develop one or more layout options tailored to your home and how you live.

Depending on the project, this may include:

• Floor plans
• Alternative layout options
• Kitchen elevations
• 3D visualizations (where applicable)

We review the proposed layouts together, refine details as needed, and confirm a direction that best supports both function and flow.

Clients are left with clear plans and design direction they can confidently share with contractors, builders, or kitchen specialists.

Design services are billed at $150 per hour, with timelines varying depending on project scope.

Feng Shui Consultaion

(2-3 hours)

Whole Home Assessment 

A structured in-home session designed to understand your space holistically and identify opportunities for greater balance, flow, and support within your home.

This session includes:

• A guided walk-through of your home
• Bagua mapping
• Identification of priority areas
• Discussion of current life transitions or areas of focus
• Initial spatial and energy recommendations

Prior to our meeting, you’ll receive a short reflection questionnaire to help clarify your intentions and goals. Following the session, you will receive a written summary outlining key observations and suggested next steps.

This foundational phase brings clarity and direction to your space.

Investment: $325
